Dr. Vignesh Devraj

Dr. Vignesh Devraj MD is a 4th generation ayurvedic physician and founder of Sitaram Beach Retreat, an NABH accredited ayurvedic hospital in Kerala. He is an international speaker on ayurveda, panchakarma and holistic healing. Balancing the Mighty Vata

His first lecture is about balancing the mighty vata, in which he will share clinical experiences and best practice on therapies and rituals helping to balance the vata in the 21st century. Among all the doshas the most powerful one is vata. If vata is imbalanced, it can unbalance everything else. If we balance the vata, it supports to balance all others and also life.

Medical Approach to Doshas

In his second lecture, »medical approach to doshas«, he will share the medical experiences of how to use the knowledge of doshas in order to support patients in their recovery. He will discuss the differences between dosha, prakruthi and vikruthi, the medical perspective of doshas and how to find out which dosha needs to be treaten first. 

He will also explain, why knowing the dosha type of a person is not very important. In a world that is obsessed with finding out everyone’s dosha type, this can lead to unlearning the doshas rather than bringing clarity.
